Gaby Jogeix’s first single has been released tonight according to the inspiring flavor and aromas that helped create his new album “Meanwhile in New Orleans”: an old jazz hall in the Marigny district where Fats Domino used to play in the 60s and that is currently set up to live recordings: Marigny Studios.
Gaby Jogeix will join the renowned guitarist of the Blues scene, Chris Cain, in his two unique concerts in Spain. It will be on March 27th at the emblematic Clamores hall in Madrid and on the 28th at the Teatro Moderno de Guadalajara. Cain has received 4 Blues Music Awards and that has been nominated for countless awards throughout his career. Tickets are already available on the sites of both halls and at giglon.com
Gaby Jogeix gives us some insight into the recording process and artists that joined him in this journey. One of the most important pieces of the new work is Alain Baudry, responsible for selecting both production and renowed international musicians as Eddie Christmas (drums), Kennan Shaw (bass) and Tom Worrell (piano). Gaby Jogeix returns to Spain after her trip to New Orleans, a key city in the development of his new album that will be released in 2019.
